2024-2025 Compensation Package

The Willis ISD Board of Trustees has approved a comprehensive compensation package for 2024-25. The package includes a $1,500 increase to the teacher, counselor, librarian, RN pay scales, which equates to a $2,080 raise for each step up on the scale, except for current first-year teachers moving to one year of experience. The starting salary is also increasing to $56,000.
Professional, support auxiliary and administrative staff will receive a 3% raise to their current salary/hourly amount. This package is in addition to the previously approved one-time retention bonus of $500-$2,500 that employees will receive in August of 2024.
