We are looking for dedicated and talented teachers, paraprofessionals and other school staff to join our team. We will also have representatives from every campus and auxiliary department, including maintenance, child nutrition, transportation and custodial. 

In addition to our starting salary of $55,000 for first-year teachers, Willis ISD has a self-funded insurance plan. This allows our district to keep premiums low while providing additional features that a regular insurance company cannot offer. Ultimately, that means our employees get to keep more of their earnings.  

Wellness Center - The district has a Wellness Center with a Physician Assistant and a Doctor on staff for general healthcare needs. The clinic is free to employees who are actively enrolled in one of the WISD health insurance plans.  Members can get basic maintenance medications at no cost. 

Employees who complete the annual Health Risk Assessment receive a discount on their health insurance premiums.  Employees on Plan I (high deductible), who complete an annual Health Risk Assessment visit with a follow-up appointment, are eligible for a zero-cost premium.
