Willis ISD Earns “B” in TEA’s 2019 A-F Accountability Rating System


Willis ISD has earned an overall rating of “B” in TEA’s preliminary 2019 Accountability Ratings. The overall district score earned is 85.

“We are extremely proud of our students, teachers and parents,” said Tim Harkrider, Superintendent. “It takes hard work, determination and teamwork to foster academic gains such as we have experienced the last few years.”

Additionally, four campuses earned eight Academic Distinction Designations. They are: 

Cannan Elementary - Top 25% Comparative Academic Growth
Parmley Elementary - Academic Achievement in Science
Brabham Middle School - Academic Achievement in Science, Postsecondary Readiness
Turner Elementary - Academic Achievement in Math, Top 25% in Academic Growth, Top 25% in   Closing Gaps and Postsecondary Readiness
