2019-2020 Compensation Plan

TEACHERS, LIBRARIANS, COUNSELORS, RNs

$50,000 starting teacher salary

$2,580 increase for 1-5 years experience  

$2,830 increase for 6 years experience and up (max of 34 years)

(Per HB3 requirement to give priority to teachers with more than 5 years' experience, there is an additional $250 added to the step for 6+ years experience).

PROFESSIONAL, SUPPORT & ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

3/6/6 percent increase to current min-mid-max scales; then a 3% of new midpoint raise

AUXILIARY STAFF (Custodians, Child Nutrition)

3% raise over current hourly rate

DISTRICT SELF-FUNDED HEALTH INSURANCE

NO change to health insurance rates, zero dollar plan for employee only with yearly health assessment, access to free health clinic and no-cost maintenance prescription medications, if on district health plan.
