A WILDKAT FIRST! Congratulations to Willis High School's FIRST-ever 6A Wrestling medalists - the Rios brothers! Luca Rios (120lbs) brought home 4th from the State Tournament and Tristan Rios (126lbs) brought home 6th. What a way to end the season!

Student of the Month - January (Elementary)
Elementary Student of the Month, C.C. Hardy fourth-grader Rylin Hicks. “Rylin is a great example to her peers by showing Hardy core values consistently in all areas of the school. She shows kindness to classmates and is a huge helper in class daily. She eagerly participates during class and loves telling us about her experiences with her new baby brother at home. In addition, she shows academic excellence across all subjects,” Lisa Gonzalez, her teacher, shared.

Secondary Student of the Month, sixth-grader Sebastian Mata. Dr. Kelley Moore, Principal of Lynn Lucas Middle School, said, “Sebastian embodies every aspect of Lynx pride. He is a hard worker who is also sweet, kind, and funny. His teachers all agree that Sebastian genuinely cares about his teachers and classmates. He always has a smile and is willing to lend a helping hand.”
