Paws of Pride
Let our staff know how much of an impact they have!
Paws of PRIDE is a recognition program designed to celebrate Willis ISD employees who truly embody the values of PRIDE: Passionate, Responsive, Innovative, Dynamic, and Empathetic. While all our staff strive to demonstrate these qualities, some consistently go above and beyond to support their colleagues and community members.
When you submit a Paws of PRIDE form, the recognized staff member will receive a virtual appreciation card that shares the kind words and details you’ve provided.
Help us honor outstanding staff members who are making a difference. Please click on the button below and let us know who deserves recognition for exemplifying PRIDE!

Paws of Pride in Action
On October 7, Rachael Tedder was recognized as the district's first recipient of a Paws of Pride appreciation card. District administrators visited Stubblefield Academy to surprise her and invite her to the upcoming board meeting. Ms. Tedder was nominated by Lt. Richard Durbin, the Director of Security, for being dynamic and responsive. Her nomination read:
"When I found out about the new Paws of Pride recognition program that has been created, I immediately thought of Rachael Tedder. Rachael has her own job and responsibilities but goes out of her way to assist my SROs with anything they need. Rachael places our orders for parts and even takes the time to research what we need. Although it is not her responsibility, she never complains and is always willing to go the extra mile. She is an asset to this district, and her professionalism and dedication is unmatched."
