Ms. Albright

     Ms. Albright is a Willis High School graduate!

     She attended Sam Houston State University and received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a double major in History and Secondary Education.  She minored in social sciences which include geography, government, economics, psychology, and sociology. 

     Ms. Albright taught elementary school in Conroe ISD for 18 years.  She spent 14 years teaching 1st grade and three years teaching 2nd grade.  In 2007 she received her English as a Second Language (ESL) certification. 

     After leaving Conroe Ms. Albright taught Texas History and World Cultures at Cleveland Middle School in Cleveland, TX.  While there she began working on her Master of Education degree through Lamar University.  She is majoring in Teacher Leadership with an emphasis in ESL instruction.  She is scheduled to graduate in February 2022.  After spending two years in Cleveland Ms. Albright made the move to Willis ISD.  As her former 11th grade ELA teach said, “She is glad to be home.”

     Ms. Albright is certified in 1st – 12th ESL, 1st – 8th core subjects, and 6th – 12th social studies.  She is very experienced in teaching not only beginner reading and writing, but also ESL.  She is well versed in research-based practices to elevate student learning to the highest level.

     Ms. Albright enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy books for fun.  She spends her free time with her family and her rescued dog and cat.  She likes seeing the United States on family road trips (including her dog).  Her goal is to see all the lower 48 states by the end of 2026.  When Ms. Albright grows up, she would like to be a principal, or a writer for National Geographic.
