Mr. William Prats Palerm

Mr. William Prats-Palerm was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After five years as a Bilingual Teacher in Texas, (Kindergarten Bilingual Teacher in Spring Branch ISD, Houston, (2012-2013); First Grade Bilingual Teacher in Krum ISD, (2013-2014); Kindergarten, Third, and Fifth Grades Bilingual Teacher in David K. Sellars Elementary School, Fort Worth ISD), he served the Leadership Academy at Como Elementary as an Aspiring Principal Resident. In 2018 to 2019, he served as a Bilingual Instructional Coach at Carroll Peak Elementary - Fort Worth ISD. From 2019 to 2021, he served as the Secondary School Assistant Principal at Ganado ISD.

Mr. Prats-Palerm graduated from the University of Puerto Rico with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanities and History, Magna Cum Laude. Afterward, he went to Law School at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. He obtained his Bilingual Generalist EC-6 Certification through the Region 4 ACP in 2012. He finished his Master's Degree at the Texas Christian University (TCU) on May 2018, where he obtained his Principal Certification (EC-12). Actually, he is finishing his doctoral degree in Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) at Aspen University. With 15 credits left, he looks forward to become a doctoral candidate in October 2021. 

He has a beautiful daughter, who is starting college this August, two excellent parents, a brother, and two sisters, who all live in Puerto Rico. He has been married to a hospice nurse for the last six years. He also proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer and was Honorably Discharged in 1988 after serving six years.
