Mrs. Coffman has been teaching since 2001. She has her Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Houston and her Masters in Conducting from Sam Houston State University. Mrs. Coffman has taught in Houston ISD, Alvin ISD and Spring ISD as a middle school and high school band director. She believes that anyone can make and enjoy music. To Mrs. Coffman, music is part of what makes us human and is a valuable tool to learn life skills, reinforce all subjects, and is a place for self expression. She is very excited to bring music to Lagway!

Mrs. Coffman has a musical family. Her husband is an orchestra director and they have a baby girl and two cats. Mrs. Coffman enjoys reading, cooking, camping and playing video games in her spare time.
