I am super excited to join you on this virtual journery this year in my second year here at Willis!  I have a degrees in Art and Music from the University of Tulsa.  This will be my 14th year as an art teacher; I have taught at each level PreK-12.  My students have received accolades at Houston Rodeo, Waterway Arts Festival, State VASE, Pearl Fincher Museum, Sam Houston State University, and University of Houston.  I am passionate that an arts education does more than teach creativity and self expression, but fosters creative problem solving, team work, self evaluation, diversity, and instills a sense of belonging and confidence in all students.  These skills will apply to all careers and benefit students throughout their life.
