Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Mary Puckett
My name is Beth Puckett and this is my second year working in Willis at Parmley. This year starts my 7th teaching year! I graduated from Sam Houston State in 2012 with a BAS in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am certified to teach General Education PK-6, Special Education PK-12, and ESL PK-!2. I believe that ALL students can learn and can do well when given the right tools to do so. I try to bring some fun into our classroom as I am able to.
My family is very important to me. I have a loving husband of 2 years, a 10 year old daughter, and a 5 month old son (big gap I know!). I truly believe that our children are the most important people in the world and they need our full attention. Your children become my children throughout the year.
Our classroom is using Classdojo to keep track of positive behaviors. The students are working to earn points to buy inclass rewards as well as a collective group of points to earn a popcorn party. We are also using a ROC for negative behaviors so I can track what type of behaviors are going on in the class. These behaviors are reflected in the daily folder.
Our core expectations for our class is treating others with respect, being helpful, and problem solving. I encourage the students to problem solve a situation when a problem comes up.
If you need to reach me for whatever reason my contact information is listed below. I try to get back with you in some way as quickly as possible.
