Mrs. Mandy Doctoroff
Mandy Doctoroff has worked for and with Texas School Districts for over thirteen years. This will be her fifth year in the classroom, with three of those years teaching third grade and the remaining two in second grade.
She graduated from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Mandy holds state of Texas teaching certifications in Early Childhood through Sixth Grade and English as a Second Language. She is also qualified to teach gifted and talented students, as well.
Mrs. Doctoroff (or Mrs. D as some students call her) is happily married to her college sweetheart Lee Doctoroff and is the proud mother of two boys. Her oldest son, Casey, is 13 years old and is in 7th grade. Her youngest son, Josef, is 9 years old and is in 4th grade. They share their home with pets Molly dog, Pele’ cat , Snowball cat, a tortoise named Rosy, two dwarf frogs Frog-Aletta and Frogaliscious, and a Australian tree frog named Eevee.
When not teaching, Mrs. Doctoroff enjoys reading and being outside gardening, camping, hiking, playing at the park with her kids, riding bikes, skateboards, going to concerts, exercising, recess, or just about any activity that can be done outside! She loves to be outside. You can also find her at home in her backyard drawing, painting, working with metal art, or building with wood.
Mrs. Doctoroff believes in good parent/teacher communication and will always try to respond to any questions or concerns within 24 hours.
