Ms. Mandy Doctoroff
Mandy Doctoroff has worked for and with Texas School Districts since 2005 and earned her own classroom in 2014.
Mandy graduated from Sam Houston State University (SHSU) in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She holds a State of Texas teaching certification in Early Childhood through Sixth Grade, and English as a Second Language. She is also qualified to teach gifted and talented students, as well. Currently, Ms. Doctoroff is working on her Masters of Education in Teacher Leadership with a specialization in gifted and talented scholars.
Ms. Doctoroff (or Ms. D as some students call her) is a single mother of two boys. Her oldest son, is 15 years old and is going in 10th grade. Her youngest son, is 12 years old and is going in 7th grade. They share their home with pets: Nyx Dog, Snowball Cat, a tortoise named Rosy, and occasionaly our class pet Lavo.
When not teaching, Ms. Doctoroff enjoys reading and being outside gardening, camping, playing at the park with her kids, riding bikes, swimming, going to concerts, exercising, or any other any activity that can be done outside! She loves to be outside. You can also find her at home in her studio/garage drawing, painting, working with metal art, or building with wood. Her passions in life are science, reading, and art.
Ms. Doctoroff believes in good parent/teacher communication and will always try to respond to any questions or concerns within 24 hours.
