Hello!! My name is Monica Harrell and I teach 8th-grade math at Lynn Lucas Middle School. I graduated from Texas A&M, and I'm from the fightin' class of 2002!! WHOOP!!
I'm married and I have a little boy who also attends school at Lynn Lucas Middle School. I understand what it's like on the other side of the table and I want you to know that I want and value your involvement in your child's education.
I enjoy teaching math because I know that math is in the world all around us and I want to help your child discover that math is something that they can use each and every day AND enjoy.
My daily schedule for remote learning:
7:15-8:15: Canvas/Student Support - tutorials for students who need extra help
8:15-9:15: Google Meets - an online virtual meeting that will include a small lesson, practice problems, and discussions. The same lesson will be at all three time slots.
9:15:10:15: Teacher Unavailable - Creating Student Lessons
10:15-11:15: Canvas/Student Support
