Hello! My name is Jennifer Nye and I am proud to be an 8th grade US History teacher here at Lynn Lucas. I also coach the CheerKats here.  I'm from Louisiana but spent most of my childhood in Conroe. I attended Louisiana State University, Sam Houston State University, and Concordia University at Austin where I majored in Reading and Education.

Until recently, I spent all of my teaching career in the Austin area but just moved back "home" and am loving it here! I am also recently married to a wonderful, supporting man and combined we have 4 children. I am a huge LSU fan and Star Wars nerd, my wedding was even Star Wars themed with full costumes!

I am so excited for this year and the adventures we will have in 8th grade!
