Mrs. Tricia Lynch

Welcome to Willis High School

This is my 21st year to teach overall, and my 11th year at Willis High School working as a co-teacher in the English Department. Before I became a teacher I worked as a legal secretary, which put me on the path to attend college.  I chose Sam Houston State University receiving my Bachelors of Science Degree in 1996.  In 1997, I chose to go back for my alternative teaching certification, and began my career as a teacher at A&M Consolidated.  I worked there for three years as the Adaptive Behavior teacher before transferring to Huntsville High School.  There I taught Resource English for 1/2 the day and worked in the Adaptive Behavior Unit the other half.  After working there for 7 years I followed my best friend to Willis High School and have been here ever since.  This year I will continue to work in the English Department as a co-teacher in English II and English IV.

I have been married for 40 years to my high school sweetheart.  We have three children and five grandchildren whom we love dearly.  We enjoy living in the country and spending time with our family and friends.

I feel it is imperative to have a positive influence on a students life.
