Textbook for DC for Fall 2019 - The Prentice Hall Reader - 11th Edition. This textbook must be purchased prior to the start of school. You will need it by Monday, August 19. The book must be purchased online. Please order well in advance of the first day of school.
11th edition (ISBN-13: 978-0321899712 or ISBN-10: 0321899717). You may be able to locate a pdf file version. Also, check with previous juniors; they may have a copy with which they are willing to provide to you.
To get a jump on the fall semester, it is recommended that you read The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne for Dual Credit or The Awakening by Kate Chopin for Advanced Placement. They will be the first books we read of the semester.
