English I Course Description:
In their study of various literary genres, English I students will develop foundational knowledge of the skills necessary for success in high school English.
Welcome to my English class! I am honored to be teaching at Willis High School! This is my 14th year in education. I have a Bachelors of Interdisciplinary Studies from Sam Houston State University and two master's degrees (Educational Leadership and Counseling) from The University of St. Thomas.
On a more personal note, I have two children (20 and 16) and two fur babies, my Boxer, Bruno, and Pug, Sir Wrinkleton. During my spare time I enjoy baking, trying new recipes and reading a variety of genres.
If you ever have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me. I am available for tutorials after school with a prearranged appointment.
