This year, each of your teachers will be utilizing CANVAS as the online platform for learning. I know that all of you are used to iCEV, and you will have links to your iCEV here and there within the Modules to help with instruction. I will also be recording videos of lessons for you (yes, KayDee and Wyatt will be in some of them) and assigning work through the CANVAS platform.
I MISS MY WILDKATS
Or Ducklings as I prefer to call y'all. Please keep yourself safe during this time. I will be hosting tutorials online for y'all on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. You will receive the schedule from me with times of tutorials very soon. Log in and say HI, I miss seeing your faces!!! HOPE TO SEE ALL OF YOU VERY SOON!
A little about me:
This is my 13th year as an Ag teacher here in Willis. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in the Spring of 2007 after doing my student teaching as a Wildkat under Mrs Marci Yancey. My husband, Travis, and I call Willis home. He is a Wildkat class of 1999! We have two children: Kolby (19) is in his second year at Texas Tech University. Kail Rose (9) is in third grade at AR Turner. As a family we enjoy time in the barn with the show animals and outdoors (hunting, fishing, playing softball). I am one of 4 FFA Advisors and work with the heifer, steer, rabbit and poultry kiddos, along with the officer team, livestock judgers, LDE, and public speakers.
