About me
I have had a very interesting professional career which has included working as a registered dietitian in many different disciplines. My most memorable job was working as a foodservice manager and nutritionist for the 1996 olympic games, and working with various chefs from around the world. My love of cooking started as a child watching and helping my mom prepare meals for our family of 9 children. I grew up in Meridian, Mississippi where I played varsity basketball and ran track. After meeting my husband in college, I traveled the country and the world as Air Force wife for 26 years, 2 months and 9 days. We decided to retire in Mongtomery County Texas because of fishing and golf.

Aside from loving to cook, I am a huge fitness fan.  As a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor, I love teaching fitness classes and helping others get and stay fit.

Aside from playing basketball and running track, I have also played softball competitevely for many years.  I am a New Orleans Saints fan

I am a parent to two adult children and grandparent to a set of twins.
