Hello Parmley Family!
I am incredibly blessed and honored to be the principal of Parmley Elementary School! I look forward to serving with each and everyone of you! I know that together we can build the most promising future for our sweet kids!
Just a little information about myself: I grew up in Spring, Texas where I attended schools in Spring ISD. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin. Hook'em Horns! I received my masters and doctorate from Sam Houston State University. I started my teaching career in Spring ISD in 2002. I started working in Klein ISD in 2006. At Kohrville Elementary, I taught 4th and 5th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies until my principal opened Blackshear Elementary. I then taught 5th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies at Blackshear for 4 years. After many wonderful years in the classroom, I joined the administrative forces as an assistant principal at Nitsch Elementary. I was blessed to serve the Nitsch community for 3 years before taking on this brand new adventure! I enjoy spending time with my amazing family as well as traveling. I'm so excited to continue my educational career at Parmley Elementary!
At Parmley Elementary, our focus is on students! We want our students to feel safe, respected, and loved! Every student deserves the very best, and I truly believe that here at Parmley, they will receive just that! We focus on high quality, innovative lessons that will keep each student engaged throughout the entire day! We believe our students should be ready for the 21st century and have a purpose when they leave us!
With your help, guidance, support, and love, I know that Parmley will be even better than before! Together, we will make a difference and help our students reach their highest potential! I am always here if you have any questions! I encourage you to come visit us and be a part of our team!
