Mrs. Brown graduated from Sam Houston University with a degree in Elementary Education-Minor in Special Education. In 2005 she was the recipient of a PULSE grant where she obtained her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. She is ESL/GT certified and just celebrated her 20th year teaching in Willis ISD!

She started at CC Hardy in 2001 teaching 5th/6th grade when it was a middle school. She stayed through its transition to elementary and has taught 5th, 3rd, and 1st grade. In 2019 she was named Teacher of the Year and appreciated the honor given by her peers.

Mrs. Brown and her husband live in Willis and have raised 2 girls who are Willis Alumni!
