Class Study/Games Sites

Flippity - Easily turn a Google sheet into a set of online flashcards.  Then have students practice in a variety of game formats, such as Quiz show, Bingo, Tournament Bracket, Crossword Puzzle, and many more.
Kahoot - a free game-based learning platform that makes it fun to learn – any subject, in any language, on any device, for all ages!  Kahoot can be played as individuals or in teams.  The questions can be multiple choice or played in Jumble (all four answer choices are arranged in an order).  You can upload videos or images and set time limits for each question.  In Kahoot, the question and answer will need to be displayed on the board, and students will select the answer on their screens.  Kahoot works on tablets and personal student devices.
Quizalize - a great online tool that lets teachers turn quick classroom quizzes into exciting multi-player games. You can choose to have students play in class or assign a quiz for homework.  Quizalize can be played on tablets or personal student devices.  As students join, it divides them into two teams that compete against each other.  Questions and answers appear on the student device and students work at their own pace.
Quizizz - is an alternative to Kahoot, with a few differences.  Questions and answers are displayed on the student devices, so no projector is needed.  A bonus is that questions and answer are randomized for each student.  Students also work at their own pace, instead of waiting for the class to move on.
Socrative - is your classroom app for fun, effective classroom engagement. No matter where or how you teach, Socrative allows you to instantly connect with students as learning happens.  Quickly assess students with prepared activities or on-the-fly questions to get immediate insight into student understanding. Then use auto-populated results to determine the best instructional approach to most effectively drive learning.
Flash Cards/Study
Quizlet - makes simple learning tools that let you study anything. Start learning today with flashcards, games and learning tools — all for free.  Using Quizlet is an effective way to get your students further engaged in what they're learning both in the classroom and at home. Our site offers six different study modes that appeal to all types of learners, allowing students to use what works best for them and go at their own pace. As a teacher you can easily create Quizlet classes to share study material with your students quickly and track their progress. And with our team-based game, Quizlet Live, it's easy to get your whole class involved, learning the material and how to work together in the process.
Study Stack - allows you to create a flashcard system to be used in a variety of ways. Not only can you study using the traditional method of flipping cards over, but this online flashcard software will take your information and create a variety of fun activities.  Students and teachers can create and share flashcards.  Unlike Quizlet, you cannot create classes to monitor student progress.
