Kristy Collins, PT; Brandy Chaney, OT; Named District MVPs

Willis ISD has named Kristy Collins, physical therapist and Brandy Chaney, occupational therapist, district MVPs for September. Each month, WISD honors employees for their contributions to the district. Collins and Chaney work with students in need of these services district-wide. A video tribute was shown before the regular meeting of the board of trustees Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Fifth-Grade Students Receive U. S. Constitutions

Willis ISD fifth-grade students will have a better understanding of the nation’s supreme law this week as they prepare for the anniversary of the signing of the Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787. The North Shore Republican Women recently visited all five elementary schools to present fifth-grade students with brochures of the U.S. Constitution.
