Register by Wednesday, August 5th, to ride the bus on the first day of school!

All new and returning students who plan to ride a Willis ISD school bus during the 2026–27 school year MUST complete the transportation registration process. To ensure bus service on the first day of school, registration must be completed by Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

How to Register

Transportation registration is completed as part of the district's:

• Annual (Returning Student) Enrollment, or
• New Student Enrollment

There is no separate transportation registration form.

If you have not received the Returning Student Registration email, please contact your campus registrar or Lucy Alexander at lalexander@willisisd.org.

Parents and guardians will receive notification of their student's transportation assignment through the My Ride K-12 app once the request has been processed. New students MUST have their enrollment approved before they can be assigned transportation services.

Registrations Submitted After August 5

Transportation requests received after August 5, 2026, will be processed after the first week of school.

Bus Routes and Schedules

Bus routes, bus stop locations, pick-up and drop-off times, and route assignments are reviewed annually and have changed this school year based on enrollment, ridership, road conditions, and operational needs.

Quick Reminders

Only students who have been approved for transportation services may ride a Willis ISD school bus.

Students whose transportation registration has not yet been processed or approved will not be permitted to ride the afternoon bus until Transportation has completed the approval process.

The number one concern of the Willis ISD Transportation Department is safety for our students. We make every effort to ensure that our transportation service is efficient and punctual. We also strive to provide prompt, effective communication and pertinent information regarding all situations. Remembering that classroom rules apply to school buses will help everyone have a pleasant ride.

Bus Routes & Zoning Information

Willis ISD is happy to announce My Ride K12, a new transportation app that will provide you with easy and fast access to your children’s bus route/pickup locations and times. This app will also allow the district to send you updates about early or late buses or other information related to your child’s bus.
