Mrs. McNew graduated from Lonestar College-Montgomery with her Associates Degree in Nursing and then went on to pursue her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from University of Texas at Tyler. She has practiced in the pediatric hospital setting and as a substitute nurse for WISD. She has five children, three of whom have graduated from WISD and two others are currently enrolled. She has previously volunteered at Cannan Elementary as a PTO President, at LLMS and WHS in various roles. Volunteering and giving back to her community is very important to her and her husband. " I am so excited to be able to help the children of my community with their healthcare needs while at school and to be a part of the Cannan and WISD family!"
