• We welcome you to Stubblefield Academy, the Discipline Alternative Education Program in Willis I.S.D.  As we start the 2022-23 school year, we are excited to implement the BASE platform on our campus. In addition to instructional time, this program is used to help students establish and maintain healthy relationships as well as make responsible and caring decisions.  Please read the Mission and Purpose statements for Stubblefield Academy. • MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of Stubblefield Academy Alternative Education Program is to provide a structured and positive learning environment that addresses both academic and behavioral skills necessary for students to be successful lifelong learners.

    PURPOSE STATEMENT
Students are sent to DAEP for disciplinary reasons, their punishment is being separated from their home campus and losing the opportunity to participate in or attend school activities and be to not be on any school property during their time at Stubblefield Academy/DAEP.  The job of the faculty, at Stubblefield, is to assist students academically and socially by staying aligned with the district’s essential elements and TEKS; by positively enabling them to reflect on the choices they made that brought them to Stubblefield Academy. The goal is for each student to return to their home campus completely caught up on their work, more capable in academic rigor, and empowered with a plan to avoid the behaviors that brought them to DAEP.
