• At the August 2023 Board Meeting, the Board unanimously voted to provide another retention incentive this December. 

     

    The payments will be as follows:

     

    • $1,500 to each Teacher/Professional/Exempt employee and Security Resource Officer hired on or before 9/01/2023
    • $1,000 to each Non/Exempt/Hourly employee hired on or before 9/01/2023
    • $500 to each employee hired between 9/02/2023 and 11/01/2023
    • Any employee who has tendered their intent to resign from Willis ISD on or before December 31, 2023, is not eligible for the one-time incentive retention payment.  If the incentive is paid and a resignation occurs, the full amount would have to be repaid.
