Kennisha Murray, a native of Huntsville, Texas is the proud School Counselor of Lagway Elementary and cannot be more elated to serve the students and parents of the Lagway community! Kennisha has been serving students of various communities since 2014. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with a primary focus in Early Childhood through 6th grade from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and a Master’s Degree in School Counseling at Lamar University. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, and her dog Gigi. Although her role as a school counselor encompasses numerous responsibilities, her main goal is to provide love, guidance, and assistance to all students, parents, and staff in a loving and safe environment.
