Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Fossler -- Assistant Principal

My name is Susan Fossler and I am proud to serve as the assistant principal at Parmley Elementary.  I am honored to say that I get to work for the same community in which was a part of my childhood.  It is an honor to give back to Willis ISD and collaborate with students, staff and parents in order to continue the family feel within the halls of the school and throughout the community of Willis. I enjoy spending time with my husband, 2 boys (6th grader and 2nd grader), and 2 dogs.  We love gardening, being outside, playing soccer, reading and spending time together playing games.

I joined Willis ISD two years ago as the school counselor and am proud to continue to be a part of this district.  I am starting my 20th year in education with 6 years of teaching experience, 12 years of counseling experience, and beginning my second year as the assistant principal

We believe ALL our students can and will be successful in school.  It is important that your child(ren) be at school to get the most of their education. Be sure to let the school know of any absences that your child may have.  Also, it is important to read with your children at least 20 minutes a night.  The more your child reads, the more they learn and become better readers.  This can include you taking turns to read and even the parent reading a book aloud.

At Parmley we are Parmley P.R.O.U.D., where we believe ALL students can learn at high levels.  Expect More, Be More!  These Common Values attribute to the greatness of all members of the school.  We promote productivity, resiliency, optimism, being unified, and dedicated.  I am so excited about the leadership opportunities that our students are able to be involved in, along with the family events that encourage our families to be a part of their students' education.  This is going to be an amazing year.  We look forward to working with our families to make positive memories for everyone at Parmley.
