  • December Students of the Month

    Norma Rojas and Kayla Lyons were named the Willis ISD Students of the Month for December. Norma is a fifth grade student at CC Hardy Elementary. Kayla is a junior at Willis High School. Congratulations!

  • December MVP Honored

    Congratulations to the District MVP for December, Mrs. Natalie DeBrock! Mrs. DeBrock teaches 1st grade at CC Hardy Elementary. She was honored during the board of trustee meeting December 9. A tribute video was shown during the meeting. Click on video at right to view.

  • Health and Wellness Fair

    Save the Date for the District Health & Wellness Fair, Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020 from 10am - 2 pm at Willis High School. The event is free and open to all parents, students, staff members and the community at large. Vendors of all kinds will be on hand to share the resources and services they have to offer. Sample healthy food by our Willis High School Culinary Arts students, have fun with some home exercise lessons by our PE instructors, and more.

  • Willis ISD Addressing Student Vaping

    The use of e-cigarettes, or "vaping," is a rapidly growing and dangerous trend among young people around the country. Willis ISD is launching an anti-vaping initiative to address these concerns with students and parents.  We believe that parents and educators have a shared responsibility to shape our children’s future, including educating them about potential dangers and consequences. Superintendent Tim Harkrider released a letter to all parents on Monday, October 7, 2019.     Willis ISD has earned an overall rating of “B” in TEA’s preliminary 2019 Accountability Ratings. The district earned an overall score of 85.
