Background

In assessing student data and predictions of future growth, Willis ISD Leadership commissioned a Demographic Study and created a Long-Term Planning Committee (LTPC) in October of 2014.  The LTPC consisted of 35 parents, community members, business owners and district employees.  The committee gathered input from the community on desired facilities and programs.  They examined existing capacities, studied demographic presentations on enrollment projections, and considered financial and tax implications. The goal was to recommend a cost-effective plan for enhancing facility and programmatic growth focused on the future success of the students and community of Willis ISD.
