Willis ISD Names New Assistant Superintendent

“Brian is a highly seasoned educator with expertise in curriculum, Professional Learning Communities, Response to Intervention and organizational structure,” said Tim Harkrider, Superintendent. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and innovative ideas to the table, and we are excited to bring him onboard.” 

Greeney was most recently head principal at Klein Oak High School since 2013. He also served the same campus as Assistant Principal from 2005-2009 and as Associate Principal from 2009-2011. He moved to Wunderlich Intermediate as Head Principal from 2011-2013, before returning to Klein Oak High School in 2013. Prior to that, Greeney was an AP Government Teacher and head swim coach in Spring Branch and Aldine ISD.    

“I am excited for the opportunity to serve the students, staff and families of Willis ISD.  I believe in the mission of “One team-One purpose” and I know that together we can help ensure students graduate with the skills they need to be successful in any future they choose.”

Greeney holds a Doctorate of Education from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas. He also holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Prairie View A&M University.
