Monday: Ask your child to manipulate the letters to make words 1-5.
*Give a hint how many letters make up each word (by holding up your fingers).
-After making the word with the letter cards, have your child write it.
Tuesday: Ask your child to manipulate the letters to make words 6-10.
-After making the word with the letter cards, have your child write it.
Wednesday: Practice making all of the spelling words.
*Take note of the words your child might need extra practice with.
-Practice having your child write sentences that you dictate to them (use the spelling & sight words- sight words can be out for them to refer to).
Thursday: Practice making spelling words with the letter cards one last time! J
-Take a practice spelling quiz. Ask your child to write each spelling word as you call them out to them.
-Practice writing dictated sentences.
Friday: Spelling quiz & dictation sentence.
