The mission of the Willis Independent School District is to develop in each student the knowledge, skills and behaviors essential for life-long learning and for productive, responsible citizenship.

District Goals

GOAL 1:   Willis ISD will create an Education Foundatoin that will serve students and staff for education excellence.

GOAL 2:      Willis ISD will identify and prioritize capital improvement needs of the District to insure that all areas requiring major capital investment are prioritized in short term, medium term, and long term requirements.

GOAL 3:      Willis ISD will design and implement a District wide job fair to be held sping 2010.

GOAL 4:      Willis ISD will achieve the goal of 70% participation in secondary students involved in extracurricular activities with the idea of developing the student academically, socially, physically and artistically while creating a climate that nurtures self discipline and builds self confidence.
