Hours of Operation:
Monday - Thursday
9:30 a.m - 3:30 p.m.

In our center parents may access a number of resources, attend classes and programs or just interact with other parents.

Volunteers are always welcome and needed!!

We always accept donations of gently worn clothing and linens.
(We always need children's clothes.)

Our goal is to work together with the community to reduce the risk factors that create substance abuse, delinquency, teen pregnancy, school dropouts and violence.

 Parenting Classes
Join us for the following FREE parenting classes:

Every Wednesday 9:30 a.m. - ESL Classes
English as a second language. The class is on going so a person may begin at any time.

Parents Helping Children Grow - 1st and 4th Wednesday, 1pm-2pm
Teaching parents how to help their children learn at home (sessions are provided in Spanish)

Sign Language for Beginners - Every Monday (October - December)
from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
 Support Groups

                        Informal group meetings 
                        All are welcome! 

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren - meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m to support the needs of Grandparents in Parenting roles.  Pot luck supper.

Madres Hispanas - meets every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for educational and social purposes.  Lunch is bring a dish.

Just for us - meets twice monthly, the second and fourth Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.  Education and support for families of children with Special Needs.  Brown bag lunch.

No time to prepare a lunch or dish, come anyway, there is always plenty.  We have guest speakers every other meeting.
 Other Resources
Clothes Closet  - Provides gently worn clothing to families at absolutely no cost.  There is a large selection of children and adult clothing and shoes. 

Resource Library - Variety of parenting books and videos available to check out.

Computer Lab - Internet accessible computers are available for parents to use.

Sewing machines are available for parent use.
