I am Travis Utecht, the 11th Grade Assistant Principal.  This is my 11th year in education and my 11th year in Willis.  I spent two years at Lynn Lucas Middle School teaching history and coaching football, basketball, and baseball.  I taught AP World History and coached football and baseball at Willis High School for six years.  I am now in my third year as an assistant principal at Willis High School.  I graduated from Sweeny High School in 1994 and I received a BA in History from Texas A&M in 1998.  I received my Master of Education from Sam Houston State University in 2009.  My wife, Nichole, teaches 3rd grade at AR Turner Elementary School, where my daughter, Lily, is in the 3rd grade.  My son, Colin, is 5 and he will start Kindergarten at Turner this school year.
